One year ago, the merger between PR Legal and AKT Todorović & Partners marked the beginning of a new phase in the development of the firm – a phase in which experience, specialised expertise and shared values were integrated into an organisation with enhanced capabilities and a higher level of operational strength.

One year on, the results of this process are visible across every segment of the firm’s work: in the way teams operate, the breadth of practices, the complexity of matters and the growing international recognition.

The merger was not merely an organisational change, but the integration of two complementary professional identities, grounded in a similar approach to work, clients and practice development. This alignment enabled a swift consolidation and laid a solid foundation for further growth.

Today, PR Legal operates as a unified, multidisciplinary team of 20 professionals. The firm’s focus is clearly directed towards further strengthening its specialised practices and developing areas that reflect the complexity of the modern market.

Through the integration of teams, capacity has significantly expanded; however, the key transformation lies in quality – driven by deeper specialisation, improved coordination and enhanced strength in handling complex matters. The Employment practice has further consolidated its position as one of the market leaders, while the Corporate, Data Protection and IP teams have achieved a high level of synergy. Dispute Resolution remains one of the firm’s core pillars.

At the same time, the firm has been actively developing complex, multidisciplinary projects, with a particular focus on strengthening its capabilities in IT law and artificial intelligence, which are increasingly shaping the business environment.

This development has also been recognised internationally. In the Legal 500 EMEA 2026 edition, PR Legal is ranked in three key areas: Commercial, Corporate & M&A, Intellectual Property, and Employment, confirming both the continuity of quality and the firm’s strategic direction.

A significant part of the firm’s development is also reflected in its active role within the legal and academic community. Cooperation with universities and leading representatives of the legal and broader business community, including guest lectures in the fields of intellectual property, data protection and employment law, support for PreMoot arbitration competitions, as well as participation in regional business conferences, form part of a broader commitment to the development of the legal profession and the education of young lawyers. In parallel, the publication of expert articles in leading regional and international publications further strengthens the firm’s visibility within the professional community.

The development of the German Desk represents an important step in strengthening the firm’s international profile and providing dedicated support to clients from German-speaking jurisdictions. The organisation of Legalink Academy 2026 in Belgrade further positions PR Legal as an active participant in the global legal network and a platform for networking and the development of the next generation of lawyers.

At the same time, the firm continues to expand its presence in specialised and demanding areas of law, including sports, media and insolvency law, where it remains among the few local firms with established expertise.
