From 30 November to 3 December 2025, the first Lex Summit conference was held, organized by Paragraf Lex, a leading local company in legal databases, professional publishing and legal information services.

Kopaonik once again brought together a large number of experts from various fields of law, as well as legal professionals from across the country, providing a platform for sharing experiences, discussing current challenges and presenting relevant practices.

As part of the panel HR Compass, our Managing Partner Ivana Ružičić delivered a presentation on Personal Data Processing in Employment Relations, with a Focus on Termination Procedures, illustrating practical examples and case analyses.

Attendees had the opportunity to understand the distinction between personal data and data relating to an individual, the relationship between the purpose of data processing and retention periods, whether employers can request certificates of general health or criminal records from employees, why consent is not an adequate legal basis for processing data in employment, and the most common mistakes employers make when conducting disciplinary procedures. The session on the use of video surveillance and GPS technology in the workplace also drew significant attention.
