On April 5–6, 2025, the XVII Belgrade Open Pre-Moot was held in Belgrade – a competition that brings together law students from around the world to engage in commercial and arbitration law.

As in previous years, two members of our team – Sonja Stojčić, Senior Associate, and Milena Đukić, Associate – had the opportunity to contribute to the event by serving as arbitrators.

The Belgrade Open Pre-Moot gathers students and professionals from across the globe, offering them a chance to compete in simulated arbitration proceedings. At the same time, it allows more experienced legal practitioners to participate in evaluating and guiding these mock hearings. As arbitrators, Sonja and Milena were responsible for assessing the advocacy skills of the participants, an important role that demands both legal expertise and dedication.

This competition is one of the leading preparatory events for Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, a prestigious student competition taking place this year in Vienna from April 11 to 17.

Additionally, PR Legal supported the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law team with a financial donation to aid in their preparation for the Vienna Moot.
